Scope

These privacy terms describe icerinkchampions.com, home of the icerinkchampions hotel register. Its editors decide what happens to the small amount of personal information covered below, and they answer at hello@icerinkchampions.com.

No account, no trail

icerinkchampions offers nothing to sign up for: no newsletter, no login, no member area. All pages open for anonymous readers, and the site deliberately runs without any analytics or visitor-counting software.

When you email icerinkchampions

Sending an email, typed freshly or prepared by the contact page's draft button, means the editors receive that email as sent, typically a name, an address and the message itself. That material serves exactly one end: reading your note and writing back.

Hosting logs

The company hosting the site may record standard technical details of each visit, for instance an IP address, the browser version, the address requested and a timestamp. Those records serve security and uptime only, expire quickly and are not used to work out who anyone is.

Your answer to the storage notice is remembered through a single local entry, explained on the Cookie Policy page.

Off the table

• No page carries ad tags, social share buttons or analytics code.
• icerinkchampions compiles no visitor profiles and leaves no decision about you to an algorithm.
• Personal details are never sold, leased or handed over in exchange for anything.

Outside providers

Text is set in Manrope, delivered from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address as each page fetches the font. Clicking through to a hotel's official site puts you under that hotel's own privacy rules from then on.

Grounds and storage period

icerinkchampions handles correspondence on the basis of legitimate interest, since answering readers is the whole point of an inbox. Emails stay while an exchange is open and are wiped within a year of the last reply.

Requests you may make

Privacy law where you live may entitle you to a copy of your data, a correction, erasure, a limit on or objection to some processing, and a complaint to the data protection regulator in your country. Email such a request and it will be handled inside whatever deadline your law sets.

Readers under 18

This register is meant for adults. icerinkchampions does not knowingly hold data about minors, and any email found to come from one is deleted.

Should the handling of data change, this text will be rewritten and its in-force date updated.
